Lien Holder Notifications

Purpose

The City of Paris Lien Holder Notification System allows lien holders, mortgage companies, and other interested parties to receive electronic notification of all Code Enforcement final orders issued since the previous notification period.

The purpose of this system is to ensure that lien holders with a financial interest in a property are informed of violations so they may:

  • Correct the violation, or
  • Pay the associated civil fines, feees, and abatement costs before a lien is filed against the property.

This system is established in accordance with the Local Government Code Enforcement Board Act KRS 65.8801–65.8839 and the City of Paris Code of Ordinances § 22.612

Registration

You may register as an individual or as an entity. The registrant is responsible for maintaining and updating their contact information. The email address you provide will be used for all official notifications. Register Here 

Notification Frequency

In accordance with City of Paris Ordinance § 22.612(F), the City will issue notifications

  • At least once per month, and
  • No more than once per week, and each notification will include all final orders entered since the last notification.
