The staff of the Paris Fire Department is celebrating 140 years of service to the City of Paris and it’s citizens.
In 1874 the city fathers voted to staff a full time department consisting of two firemen in addition to the volunteer force that had been serving the city since 1810.
Paris Fire currently staffs nearly 50 employees, including three platoons of full-time firefighters and medics as well as a number of part-time employees. We are located at two stations in Bourbon County, with several engines and EC units ready to respond to any emergency that should arise.
