Sewer Backup or Overflow?

Report sewer overflows and blockages to Field Operations. They handle all City sewer and water lines.

Who Is Responsible for Which Sewer Line?

The sewer line from your home to the point where it connects to the City main line.

City

The City main lines.

  1. Call the City first for any blockage. Checking the City main line doesn't cost you anything.
  2. City crews check the main line to make sure it is open and clear.
  3. If the City main line is clear, call a plumber to check your line.

Visiting the Plant

The plant is a publicly owned treatment works (POTW) and is open to the public during regular hours, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please call ahead at (859) 987-2116, even 15 to 30 minutes before you arrive.
