Open the Employment page on this website, where you will find a downloadable application which can be completed and returned to Human Resources in person, by mail, or by photo upload to humanresources@paris.ky.gov. You may also apply electronically through Indeed.
What if I don't have a computer or internet access?
The City of Paris accepts paper and electronic applications. Use a public computer at the Paris-Bourbon County Public Library, or come into the City of Paris on the 1st floor of the Municipal Building at 525 High Street between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and request a paper application from the utility window.
I have a criminal record. Will that prevent my hire with the City?
The City does conduct drug and background screenings on all potential candidates. The City considers each candidate on an individual basis and does not discriminate based upon criminal history.
