City of Paris, Kentucky

Purpose

The City of Paris Lien Holder Notification System allows lien holders, mortgage companies, and other interested parties to receive electronic notification of all Code Enforcement final orders issued since the previous notification period. The purpose of this system is to ensure that lien holders with a financial interest in a property are informed of violations so they may:

  • Correct the violation, or
  • Pay the associated civil fines, fees, and abatement costs before a lien is filed against the property.

This system is established in accordance with the Local Government Code Enforcement Board Act, KRS 65.8801 to 65.8839, and the City of Paris Code of Ordinances Section 22.612.
