Overview
The City of Paris has four Commissioners, elected by the citizens of Paris to act as their representatives in all legislative matters. Their primary duties are to enact ordinances, resolutions, and municipal orders; appoint administrative personnel and board members; and adopt policies and procedures for the good of the community. Commissioners are elected for a two-year term.
City Commission meetings are held at City Hall, 525 High Street, in the Commission Chambers. Meetings are scheduled for 9:00 AM on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and are open to the public.
